CranioSacral Therapy works with the craniosacral system – the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid which surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Restrictions or imbalances in the craniosacral system – due to stresses, poor posture or injury can restrict the central nervous system’s performance and eventually lead to sensory, motor and neurological dysfunction.

This therapy is designed to influence optimum body function as well as to help ease pain. Therapy consists of a series of hand positions using gentle traction -- this allows restrictions to release and the body to return to more optimal functioning.

Typically, CranioSacral Therapy offers the client a greater sense of peace, relaxation and well being. This greater sense of self often makes handling the day-to-day demands of life easier.
